All fees are subject to change without notice

State Parks are open from 8 a.m. to sunset every day of the year.  Many museums, visitor centers and historic sites may be closed two days per week, usually Tuesday and Wednesday and their hours may vary.

Fee Schedule

All fees are per day unless otherwise noted. Local option taxes and county surcharges apply at many parks. Please contact the parks for additional information. For parks that accept reservations, visitors may make them from two days up to eleven months in advance.

Pets

Pets are welcome in Florida State Parks in designated areas if they are kept on a 6-foot, hand-held leash and are well-behaved.  Pets are not permitted on bathing beaches or in concession facilities and park buildings.  They may also be restricted in other areas of certain parks.  Service Animals are welcome in all parks in all areas.

A set of conduct rules will be enforced for campers with pets. For more information see the Florida State Park Pet Rules.

Also see the list of parks that allow pets in their campgrounds and the parks that do not allow pets in their campgrounds. Pets are not allowed in cabins.

Daily Entrance Fees

The Daily Entrance Fee, where charged, is $4.00** per carload, up to eight people.  *Selected parks are $5.00** per carload.  Pedestrians, Bicyclists, Extra Passengers, Passengers in Vehicles with Holder of Annual Individual Entrance Permit - Entrance Fee is $1.00** per person.  There may be additional fees for camping, tours and museum entrance.   Contact the individual park for more information.

Annual Entrance Pass

Annual passes allow you to discover, experience and enjoy your beautiful Florida State parks for just pennies a day!

In lieu of the statewide general entrance fee charge; does not waive any other special use fees charges at some parks.  Individual passes are $40, plus tax, and family passes are $80, plus tax, per year.  The family pass is good for up to a maximum of 8 people in one vehicle.

Entrance passes are honored in all state parks, except for Madison Blue Spring, Homosassa Springs State Park, and Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier, which offer a 33% discount.  Passes may be purchased online or through the state park or by direct mail.  Please ask your nearest state park or call (352) 628-1002.

**Proof of Residency as documented in the FPS Operations and Procedures Manual:

  1. Florida Drivers License;

  2. Birth certificate; or

  3. A Florida Senior Citizen Hunting and Fishing Certificate.

**Proof of Disability as documented in the FPS Operations and Procedures Manual:

  1. SSA disability award document;

  2. Current document from a federal agency which states the bearer is 100% disabled;

  3. A signed statement on a medical doctor's letterhead which names the bearer and
    states that they are 100% disabled;

  4. A current Medicare card; or

  5. A Florida Totally and Permanently Disabled Person Hunting and Fishing Certificate.

  6. Department of Veterans Affairs identification card.

  7. Civil Service Retirement System approval letter showing 100% disability; or

  8. Department of Revenue Form 416, Physician's Certification of Total and Permanent
    Disability.

  9. National Park Service Golden Access Pass (not to be confused with the Golden Age or Golden Eagle passes).
