- "For nineteen years my family and I have been going to Islamarada (Lower Matecumbe Key). On our many Visits we have gone by boat to Indian Key. My sisteen year old daughter gets sea sick but her favorite time in the Keys is going and playing on the island. We just went in May 2003 and the voluteers have done a great job of redoing the walkways. It’s a place with a lot of history. If you read some books that have been written by locals it really brings the place to life."
