Alafia River State Park
Directions: From the South - Take I-75 North to exit #240. At exit #240, turn Right (East) onto SR 674. Keep straight on SR 674 for approximately 15 miles. Turn Left (North) at flashing light, onto CR 39 for approximately 5 miles. The main park entrance is on the Right side. From the North - Take I-75 South to exit #246. At exit #246, turn Right (East) onto Big Bend Road. Keep straight on Big Bend Road for approximately 1 mile. Turn Right (South) onto U.S. 301. Keep straight on U.S. 301 for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn Left (East) onto CR 672. Follow CR 672 for approximately 12 miles. Turn Left (North) onto CR 39. Keep straight on CR 39 for approximately 1.5 miles. The main park entrance in on the Right side. From the East - Take I-4 West to exit #22. Turn Left onto Park Road. Follow Park Road for approximately 2.5 miles. Bear right onto 39B. Turn Left onto SR 39 (James Redman Parkway). Continue on SR/CR 39 for approximately 15.2 miles. The main park entrance will be on the Left side.

Anclote Key Preserve State Park
Directions: Anclote Key State Preserve is located three miles off Tarpon Springs and is accessible only by private boat.

Caladesi Island State Park
Directions: Caladesi Island is accessible only by boat or ferry. The ferry service to Caladesi leaves from HISP Honeymoon Island State Park hourly beginning at 10 AM. Folks can call the ferry service directly 727-734-1501.

By Boat: From Marker 14 on the Dunedin Causeway Channel, which runs parallel to the causeway between Hurricane Pass and the Intracoastal Waterway, follow a compass heading of about 212 degrees for approximately 1 mile. Follow the channel markers into the Caladesi Island State Park marina. (Note: Do not turn 212 degrees from Marker 14 on the Intracoastal Waterway. Look for Marker 14 on the Causeway Channel, which has a brown park sign on it.)

Driving Directions to Honeymoon Island From Orlando: I-4 west to I-275 south to SR-60 west. Cross Courtney Campbell Causeway, then turn right on US Hwy 19 north. Left on Curlew Rd. (SR-586). Follow SR-586, crossing Dunedin Causeway, to Honeymoon Island State Park for Caladesi ferry.

From north of Tampa: I-75 south to I-275 south to Hillsborough Ave. exit. West to slight left at Curlew Rd. (SR 586). Pass fork at SR-580. Follow SR-586, crossing Dunedin Causeway, to Honeymoon Island State Park for Caladesi ferry.

From Bradenton and South: I-75 north to I-275 north to Roosevelt Ave. exit (Follow signs for St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, last exit before the Howard Franklin Bridge). Stay right on SR-686 west when SR-688 forks to left. Right (north) on McMullen Booth Rd. (CR-611) to cross over the Bayside Bridge. Left on Curlew Rd. (SR 586). Follow SR-586, crossing Dunedin Causeway, to Honeymoon Island State Park for Caladesi ferry.

Cayo Costa State Park
Directions: Cayo Costa State Park is located directly south of Boca Grande and West of Pine Island and N. Ft. Meyers. Accessible only by passenger ferry or private boat. The passenger ferry, Tropic Star of Pine Island departs from Pineland, Florida (Pine Island). Reservations are required on the ferry service. There is a fee for the ferry service.Call Tropic Star of Pine Island at (239) 283-0015.

Charlotte Harbor State Park
Directions: The administrative, resource management and facilities maintenance offices are located on Burnt Store Road in Punta Gorda approximately 3 miles south of US 41/Tamiami Trail. Other access points to the park are available in Cape Coral, Cape Haze, El Jobean, Little Pine Island and Rotonda.

Collier-Seminole State Park
Directions: Going south from Tampa on I-75, take Exit 101 (SR 951 & SR 84) and turn right. Follow 951 to US 41. Turn left on US 41 and the Collier-Seminole State Park will be 8 miles on the right just past CR 92. Going west from Fort Lauderdale, take Exit 80 (SR 29), go south to 41 and turn right. Follow 41 for about 15 miles, and the Collier-Seminole State Park will be on your left.

Estero Bay Preserve State Park
Directions: To Estero River Scrub: I 75 to Corkscrew Rd exit 123. Travel west on Corkscrew Rd. At intersection with US 41, turn north (right) onto US 41. Turn west (left) onto Broadway W. Public access point is on the north (right) side of the road next to the FPL substation. To Winkler Point: I 75 to Daniels Rd exit 131. Travel west on Daniels Rd. Turn south (left) onto 6 Mile Cypress Parkway. Turn left (south) onto Summerlin Rd. Turn south (left) onto Winkler Road. Public access point is at the end.

To Preserve Office: The Preserve Office is co-located with the park office at Koreshan State Park. Take I-75 Exit 123 Corkscrew Road, head west 2 miles, cross U.S. 41 and continue on Corkscrew Road approximately 1000 yards to entrance of park. If traveling U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) Koreshan is located at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Corkscrew Road at Estero.

Fort Foster State Historic Site
Directions: All Visitors to Fort Foster must enter through Hillsborough River State Park first. Hillsborough River State Park is located 9 miles north of Tampa and 6 miles south of Zephyrhills on US Highway 301. From I-75, South bound from Ocala take the SR 54. Exit #279 east to Hwy 301, travel South for 6 miles, and the park will be on your right-hand side. From I-75, North bound from Tampa take the Fowler Ave. Exit #265 east to Hwy 301, travel North for 9 miles, and the park will be on your left-hand side. From I-4, West bound take Exit 10 go north on C.R. 579 to US 301, follow the signs and go North 7 miles the park will be on your left-hand side. From I-4, East bound take Exit 7 (be careful of the merges) and go North on US 301 for 14 miles, the park will be on your left-hand side.

Directions: Exit 224 from I-75. Head west for 1 mile on US 301. Look for the Landmark white picket fence and turn right into the main park entrance.

Directions: Gasparilla Island is a barrier island on Florida's southwest coast. Access to the island is via the Boca Grande Causeway at C.R. 775 and Placida.

Hillsborough River State Park
Directions: Hillsborough River State Park is located 9 miles north of Tampa and 6 miles south of Zephyrhills on US Highway 301. From I-75, Southbound from Ocala take the SR 54. Honeymoon Island State Park
Directions: Honeymoon Island State Park is located at the extreme west end of S.R.586, north of Dunedin. From I-75 (north of Tampa): I-75 south to I-275 south towards Tampa. Follow I-275 south to Hillsborough Ave west (SR-580). Take SR 580 west to SR-586 fork then left. Follow SR-586 into park. From I-75 (south of Tampa): I-75 north to I-4. I-4 to I-275 north. I-275 to Hillsborough Ave west (SR-580). SR-580 west to SR-586 fork then left. Follow SR-586 west into park.

Koreshan State Historic Site
Directions: I-75 Exit 123 Corkscrew Road, head west 2 miles, cross U.S. 41 and continue on Corkscrew Road approximately 1000 yards to entrance of park. If traveling U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) Koreshan is located at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Corkscrew Road at Estero.

Lake June in Winter Scrub State Park
Directions: Take US Highway 27 to the town of Lake Placid, turn west on County Road 621, travel approximately five miles on County Road 621 (Lake June Road) to Daffodil Road (621 merges into Poplar, then into Miller as you travel towards Daffodil). Turn south onto Daffodil road (Spur Mini Mart at this intersection), travel approximately two miles to the end of Daffodil Road, the park entrance is on your left. Lake June in Winter Scrub State Park is approximately 15 minutes from the historic downtown of Lake Placid.

Madira Bickel Mound State Archeological Site
Directions: Madira Bickel Mound is located off of US Hwy 19 in Palmetto. The entrance road is approximately one mile south of I-275. The site is located on Bayshore Dr. and approx. 1.5 miles after turning off US 19. Please follow posted signs.

Mound Key Archeological State Park
Directions: Mound Key is managed by Koreshan State Historic Site. Koreshan State Historic Site is located off exit 123 on I75. Go west on Corkscrew Rd. cross US-41. Koreshans entrance is 1000 feet west of US-41 on the right. Mound Key is accessible by boat only. It can be reached by the Estero River and accessed at the Koreshan State Historic Sites boat ramp. It is approximately 3.5 miles from the boat ramp to the island. Also Lovers Key State Park on Estero Island offers a boat ramp which can be used as a starting point.

Stump Pass Beach State Park
Directions: Stump Pass Beach State Park is located at the south end of Manasota Key in the town of Englewood, Florida. The 245 acre park consists of three islands and the protected channels between them.From the north: Take the I-75 south to Exit 191 (River Road). Take River Road to Pine Street(Second traffic light after you cross US 41). Turn left on Pine Street. Take Pine Street to CR 776 (McCall Road) and turn right. Stay on McCall Road for approximately ½ mile. Turn left on Beach Road. Stay on Beach Road onto Manasota Key. When the road splits, keep to your left. This will become Gulf Blvd. Stay on Gulf Blvd till the road ends, you will be right in front of the park entrance.From the south: take I-75 north to Exit 170 (Kings Hwy). Exit I-75 and turn left on Kings Hwy. After you pass under I-75 turn right onto Veterans Blvd (CR 776). Stay on Veterans Blvd approx 16 miles through Murdock, El Jobean and into Englewood (It becomes El Jobean Road when it crosses US 41). Look for McDonalds on the left side of the road. Just past McDonalds you will turn left on Beach Road. Stay on Beach Road onto Manasota Key. When the road splits, keep to your left. This will become Gulf Blvd. Stay on Gulf Blvd till the road ends, you will be right in front of the park entrance.

Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park
Directions: The park is located in the Port Richey area of Pasco County. At this time only a start-up kit consisting of a small self-composting restroom, small picnic shelter, information kiosk, and one half mile of nature trail is available to the public from the landward side. It can be reached by turning west off of Cinema Drive and it is approximatley two tenths of a mile to the park entrance. Cinema Drive dead ends at entrance of start-up kit. The main use area of the park is scheduled to begin construction sometime after the first of the new year. That entrance will be just north of Ridge Road in Port Richey.

Ybor City Museum State Park
Directions: From I-4 - Take exit 1 and turn South onto 21st Street (it's one-way) turn right onto Palm Avenue, then take the second left onto 19th Street and the very next right which is 9th Avenue. The museum is the second building on the right, a large building with a yellow brick front. From I-275 - Take it North or South to I-4 and follow the above directions. Parking - Parking is available on the street at the parking meters (quarters only) or at one of the metered lots located off of 8th Avenue or one of the Parking Garages. One Parking Garage is located on 9th Avenue between 13th Street and Nick Nuccio Parkway, 6 blocks west of the Museum. Another Parking Garage is located at 15th Street and 5th Avenue and is 6 blocks diagonally from the Museum. Two Hour Free Parking is available on 7th Avenue during the day but it fills up fast.
