Directions: The preserve is located about 10 miles east of Dundee. From US 27, turn east on County Rd 542, through Dundee (turning left at stoplight). In about 1 mile take a right on to Hatchineha Rd. Go about 8 miles to Firetower Road on the right. The parking lot is about 3 miles on the left.

Anastasia State Park
Directions: From I-95 take exit 311 (old 94). Go east on State Road 207. Turn right on State Road 312. Turn left on A1A. Travel approx. 1.5 miles north to main park entrance. (Turn right after The Surf Station.)
From US-1 turn east onto State Road 312. Turn north (left) on A1A. Travel approx 1.5 miles north to main park entrance. (Turn right after The Surf Station.)

Fort Mose Historic State Park is located just east of US-1 at the end of Fort Mose Trail in northern St. Augustine.

Directions: Take exit 114 off Interstate 4 and follow the signs. Go south on 17/92 to Orange City, about 2.5 miles. Make a right onto West French Avenue.

Colt Creek State Park
Directions:

The park is located 16 miles north of Lakeland just south of the Withlacoochee River off of State Road 471. From I-4 take exit # 32 and proceed north on US 98 approximately 13 miles, turn right onto State Road 471. From I-75 take exit # 301 and proceed east on State Road 50 for approximately 13 miles, turn right onto State Road 471. The entrance to the park is 3.8 miles north of US 98 and 17 miles south of State Road 50.

De Leon Springs State Park
Directions: Take US Hwy 17 North from Deland for approximately six miles, following the State Park signs. Turn left onto Ponce DeLeon Blvd and you will travel approximately one mile to the entrance to DeLeon Springs State Park.

Directions: Blue Pond Picnic and Hiking Area is located on US 17 South, approximately 15 miles south of Palatka, 4 miles south of Satsuma and 5 miles north of Pomona Park.

Faver-Dykes State Park
Directions: Take Interstate 95 to exit #298 which is US 1. Go north on US 1 for 300 yards and turn right on Faver-Dykes Road. Go 1.5 miles on Faver-Dykes Road to Faver-Dykes State Park.

Fort Mose Historical State Park
Directions: From St. Augustine: From downtown St. Augustine, drive north on A1A. At the carousel (you read it correctly), continue straight north on San Marco. (A1A turns right towards Vilano Beach. Don't go that way.) San Marco merges with Hwy 1. Shortly after the merge, look for a bronze statue on the right and a sign for Fort Mose. Turn right on Fort Mose Trail. Fort Mose Trail dead ends into Fort Mose picnic area and parking lot.
OR: From Hwy 1 in St. Augustine, drive north past Hwy 16. Look for a bronze statue on the right and a sign for Fort Mose. Turn right on Fort Mose Trail. Fort Mose Trail dead ends into Fort Mose picnic area and parking lot.

From Jacksonville: Drive south on Hwy 1. Turn left on Fort Mose Trail. (If you pass Hwy 16 you've missed Fort Mose Trail.) Fort Mose Trail dead ends into Fort Mose picnic area and parking lot.

Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach
Directions: From I-95: Whether you are traveling north or south on I-95, take exit 284 (State Road 100). Turn east onto State Road 100 and travel approximately 3 miles till you reach A1A (and the ocean). At the light turn right (south) and travel approximately another 3 miles. The Ranger Station will be located on the drive to your right and our day use beach facilities will be on the left.

From Daytona: Take A1A north to approximately 1 mile north of the Flagler/Volusia County line (approximately 18 miles)The Ranger Station will be located on the drive to your left and our day use beach facilities will be to your right.

From Ormond Beach: Take West Granada (40) east, across the Halifax River, to A1A. Turn left (north) on A1A and travel approximately 11 miles (1 mile north of the Flagler/Volusia County line). The Ranger Station will be located on the drive to your left and our day use beach facilities will be to your right.

From Palm Coast: Take Palm Coast Parkway east across the Intercoastal Waterway (toll bridge) to A1A. Turn left (south) on A1A and travel approximately 11 miles. The park is located on A1A. The Ranger Station will be on the drive to your right and our day use beach facilities will be to your left.
Avoid the toll: Take Palm Coast parkway east to Colbert Lane. Turn right (south) on Colbert Lane and travel approximately 7 miles to SR 100. Turn left (east) on SR 100 and travel approximately 1.5 miles to A1A. Turn right on A1A and travel about 3 miles. The Ranger Station will be located on the drive to your right and our day use beach facilities will be to your left.

From St. Augustine: Take A1A south for approximately 32 miles to SR 100. Continue straight through the light and travel approximately another 3 miles to the park. The Ranger Station will be located on the drive on your right and our day use beach facilities will be located on your left.

Hontoon Island State Park
Directions: Hontoon Island is located west of DeLand off of State Road 44. Turn on County Road 4110 (Old New York Ave.), left if you are traveling west on 44, right if you are traveling east on 44. Follow County Road 4110 to County Road 4125 (Hontoon Road) make a left, go to River Ridge Road (continuation of County Road 4125) and make a left on to River Ridge Road. Our address is 2309 River Ridge Road.

Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park
Directions:
    From the North on the Turnpike:
  • Exit #193 at SR 60/Yeehaw Junction
  • Turn right (west) on SR 60
  • At four-way Stop, turn left (south onto Hwy 441
  • After approximately 18 miles, turn right (west) onto CR 724
  • After 13 miles, turn right (north) onto Peavine Trail
  • Stay on Peavine Trail 5 miles
  • Preserve Entrance straight ahead

    From North or South on I-95:
  • Exit #131 at Orange Ave./CR68-Ft. Pierce
  • Head west on CR 68 approximately 35 miles until the road ends at Hwy 441
  • Turn right (north) on Hwy 441
  • In less than 1 mile turn left on CR 724
  • After 13 miles, turn right (north) onto Peavine Trail
  • Stay on Peavine Trail 5 miles
  • Preserve Entrance straight ahead

    From Okeechobee

  • Take Hwy 441 north approximately 15 miles
  • Turn left (west) on CR 724
  • After 13 miles, turn right (north) onto Peavine Trail
  • Stay on Peavine Trail 5 miles
  • Preserve Entrance straight ahead

    Campground is 5 miles from the front entrance
    Please remember--the speed limit is 25 mph.


    Visitors using GPS or internet mapping programs from Hwy 441 or Hwy 98, please follow the brown state park signs.

Directions: Lake Kissimmee State Park is located off S.R. 60, 15 miles east of Lake Wales.

From SR 60:
Turn North (left Eastbound, right Westbound) onto Boy Scout Road/Barney Keen Road

Park will be on right after approx. 5 miles

From US 27:
Turn East (left Southbound, right Northbound) onto Chalet Suzanne Road

Lower Wekiva River Preserve State Park
Directions: The Northern Entrance into the Lower Wekiva River Preserve State Park is located off of S.R. 44 in Pine Lakes. From S.R. 44, turn south onto Oak Avenue. and west onto Swift Road. Follow Swift Road to the end of the paved road and turn south into the Preserve (address: 38015 Fechtel Rd, Eustis, FL, 32726). The Southern Entrance into the Preserve is located nine miles west of Sanford on S.R. 46. From Interstate 4, take Exit 101C and travel west on State Road 46 for approximately nine miles to the park entrance which will be on the right (address: 8300 W SR 46, Sanford, FL, 32711).

North Peninsula State Park
Directions: Coming from the north, I-95 exit #284, turn left off exit and proceed east 3 miles to A1A, turn right and proceed 5 1/2 miles to Highbridge Road and turn right. Smith Creek Landing's entrance is about 500 yards west on Highbridge. Coming from the south, I-95 exit #268, turn right off exit and proceed east 5 miles to A1A, turn left and go 8 1/2 miles to Highbridge Road and turn left and proceed about 500 yards to entrance.

Rock Springs Run State Reserve
Directions: Rock Springs Run State Reserve is located in Sorrento, approximately 30 miles north of Orlando. From Interstate 4, take Exit 101C and travel west on State Road 46 for approximately ten miles to the park entrance located at the beginning of County Road 433 (County Road 433 is not marked-it begins at the entrance to the park; Please use the MapQuest link on this page as it will provide the correct map-Do not enter a search in MapQuest using the park address as a point of reference as MapQuest has incorrect information in their database and they have been notified). The park entrance will be on the left if traveling from Interstate 4 and is framed by a very tall chain link fence. The park entrance is approximately 3 miles west of the Wekiva River bridge on State Road 46.Please call the park at (407) 884 2008 if further directions are needed.

Sebastian Inlet State Park
Directions: From Indian River County: From Interstate 95, take the Fellsmere/Sebastian exit and go east (towards Sebastian) on County Road 512. After a short distance, turn right on County Road 510. This road will intersect with U.S. Highway 1. Continue east, over the Indian River, to State Road A1A. Turn left (north) and go 7 miles on State Road A1A, you will have arrived at Sebastian Inlet.From Brevard County: From Interstate 95, take the U.S. 192 exit and go east until you reach State Road A1A in Indialantic. Turn right (south) on State Road A1A and go 18 miles to get to Sebastian Inlet.

Silver River State Park
Directions:

Silver River State Park is located east of Ocala, 1 mile south of S.R. 40 on S.R. 35. From Interstate 75, take exit 352 onto SR 40 east, about 9 miles to SR 35. From Interstate 95 take exit 268 to Route 40 west, about 60 miles to SR 35.

Wekiwa Springs State Park
Directions: Wekiwa Springs State Park is approximately 20 minutes North of Orlando and approximately 45 minutes North of the attractions. It is easily located off Interstate 4 at exit 94. Take State Road 434 West to Wekiwa Springs Road. Turn right on Wekiwa Springs Rd. and travel approximately 4 miles to the park entrance which will be on the right. Please call the park if additional directions are needed.
