Ranger-guided walks are provided throughout the year on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. (or rescheduled due to Friday special events). Tours can be tailored to different age groups. Ranger-guided walks rotate through different locations within the park interpreting different ecosystems and historical points such as the Mangroves, the Mid Trail, adjacent to the Coastal Dune Lake, Terramar, Sensitive Habitats or Beach Habitats and the Beach Hammock Trail. A live animal presentation is offered every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Beach Gate entrance and includes protected Eastern Indigo Snake, Corn Snakes, Diamondback Terrapin Turtles and other natural objects for interpretation from the park. Walks and Programs for individuals, students and organized groups, on other days and times, are available by pre-arrangement.
