RANGER WALKS AND GUIDED TRAIL WALKS
Honeymoon Island State Park
Every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday. November thru February only. Each walk above departs promptly at 11:00 a.m.
Come to the Osprey Trail, located in the Picnic Area for a guided walk!
- Wednesday's Volunteer Led walk is a short walk of 1/4 mile to see and learn about the Ospreys and other birds of prey.
- Saturday's Ranger Led walk is a 45 minute walk of 3/4 mile, with different rangers and topics each week.
- Sunday's Volunteer Led Walk is a 45 minute of 3/4 mile, with an optional extended 2 mile round trip to the Eagle nest, and led by volunteers experienced in birding and Osprey nest site monitoring.
Where: Meet at the Osprey Trail head, located at the north end of the Picnic Area parking lot at Honeymoon Island State Park
Cost: Free with paid park admission - ($8.00 per car, up to 8 people per carload)
