This original CCC cabin on Little Lake Johnson is one of nine built in the 1930s, and is still in use today. This photo was taken at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park in Keystone Heights. The swimming area of Little Lake Johnson sits at the foot of this shady hill at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park in Keystone Heights. Hop aboard one of the world's largest airboats, the <em>Myakka Maiden</em> or the <em>Gator Gal</em>, and take a scenic cruise on the Upper Myakka Lake at Myakka River State Park east of Sarasota.
The birdwalk provides one of many opportunities at Myakka for birders to find an exciting lineup of birding experiences at Myakka River State Park east of Sarasota. Even the cavalry are represented at this large historic reenactment held every year in February at Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park near Lake City. The sign marks the entrance to Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park, 1956.
The historic stone fountain is surrounded by four stone column trellises, podocarpus hedges, a beautiful xeriscape garden and gazebo at Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka. A sign marks the location of Confederate earthworks that were built here during the Civil War at Suwannee River State Park in Live Oak. Two large cypress trees overlook the peaceful Suwannee River from a sand bank at Suwannee River State Park in Live Oak.
The Barnacle stands like a sentinel on the shores of beautiful Biscayne Bay at The Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove.
