Visitors of all ages enjoy the beach waters.

Daniel Laird

We welcome you to the beautiful and serene Henderson Beach State Park where you can truly enjoy the Real Florida. Fall is in the air and the weather is just right for an outdoor adventure. Now is the perfect time to enjoy the natural beauty and serenity of the Emerald Coast.  Whether you like camping, fishing, biking, hiking or swimming, Henderson Beach State Park has something for everyone. Rent a campsite, take a peaceful walk on our sugar white sand beach, or take a hike along the beautiful 3/4 mile nature trail that provides visitors with a rare view of some of the last remaining and endangered coastal scrub communities in the Florida Panhandle or simply bring a chair, umbrella, and a good book, relax and enjoy a peaceful day at the beach.

Camping at Henderson Beach is second to none. Please make your reservations early online at or by phone at 1-800-326-3521. Reservations can be made up to eleven months in advanced. The campground stays busy so the earliest you plan your trip the better.

Interested in having an event (wedding, group picnic, etc.) at Henderson Beach? The pavilions are available to rent year round except on holiday weekends. For specifics please call Carolyn at (850)269-1062 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for more details. Or simply call and leave a message.

The park's day use area is open from 8 a.m. to sunset daily.
