STORYTIME WITH PAUL LOWERY
Date: Saturday, Sept 13th from 1:00pm until finished
Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Henderson Beach State Park will once again host storytime with Mr. Paul Lowery, author of ' Do you know where Sea Turtles go?'. Following the story he will discuss the different types of sea turtles and answer all questions. Copies of Mr. Lowery's book are on sale at the parks store, so get your copy and bring it down for an autograph while you are here.
Fees: This year free entry to the parks will take place between Sepember 7th thru the 13th. There are three ways to receive free entry during this week, present a library book, library card or make a book donation at the entry station.

COASTAL CLEANUP
Date: Saturday, September 20th from 8:00a.m. - 11:00p.m.
Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Henderson Beach State Park will be host to: 'Coastal Clean Up' a state wide effort to remove litter from our communities and beaches. Henderson Beach State Park will once again be a pick up point for trash gathered in the Destin area. Come out early to get your trash bags, snacks, cold drinks and T-Shirts while they last!
