Grayton Beach State Park

 About Grayton Beach State Park

Sunbathing next to the Gulf waters is a favorite pastime.

Matthew Allen

The Summer has come and gone and Fall has arrived what a great time to enjoy a walk along the sugar white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico or the park's 4.5-mile interpretive hiking and biking trail. For the less adventurous hiker, come check out our improved one mile interpretive nature trail. The sea turtles have started nesting and the shorebird chicks have hatched. Grayton Beach is the ideal place to bring your family and experience "The Real Florida."

For the convenience of our park visitors/guests Grayon Beach State Park offers firewood for $6.50 a bundle, and 10lb bag of ice for $3.00.  Cash or check only. All proceeds benefit "The Friends of Grayton Beach and Deer Lake State Parks" and help protect and preserve "The Real Florida".

"Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints."

Grayton Beach State Park offers 30 modern cabins with no television, phones, or internet (WiFi) for the family that wishes to escape the trappings of technology and share good quality family time.

If you are making cabin reservations for more than 2 cabins, and would like to be grouped together please give Grayton Beach State Park a call  for a cabin request after making your reservation. We will do everything we can to accomodate your request but  all requests are done on a first come first serve basis.

Grayton Beach State Park has opened the new campground loop with 24 new sites that have 30 and 50 amp electrical, water and sewer at each new site. We hope that this allows more people to experience "The Real Florida".

Grayton Beach State Park has full beach access including ADA access at both the main park and cabin beach.

We are sorry but pets are not allowed in the cabins or cabin area or on the beaches. Pets are allowed in the campground and on nature trails.
