March 7, 14, 21 and 28, April 4 Get up close and personal with the plants and animals of an estuary. Meet at the Picnic Pavilion next door to the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse Museum. Explore sea grass flats inhabited by seahorses, shrimp, young fish, crustaceans, mollusks and their egg casings and other marine creatures. This 2-hour Barrier Island Parks Society (BIPS) sponsored wading program is appropriate for adults and children ages 6 and up. Fee is $5 per person, discount to BIPS members. Park entrance fee applies.
