April 20, May 18 and June 15.
The Port Boca Grande Lighthouse and its lighthouse keepers have an interesting history. Each program consists of a different aspect of the lighthouse and/or natural history and includes a related activity. Visits by special guests may include the U.S. Coastguard, local mariners and others. Meet at the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse Museum.
This 2-hour program sponsored by the Barrier Island Parks Society (BIPS) is appropriate for children ages 6 to 10.
Fee is $5 per person; discount to BIPS members. Park entrance fee applies.
