About Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park

Many people sunbathe on the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West.

A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER

Mike Guarino

As we head into spring, the park experiences its highest visitation of beachgoers, history gurus and flocks of migrating birds. Late spring promises warm water, calm winds, turtle’s ready to nest and summer breakers making there way down for vacation.

You can join a park ranger at 12:00 p.m. daily for a guided tour of the historic fort.

Please visit our concession for lunch and all your beach going needs. They offer umbrella and chair rentals as well as snorkel gear to explore coral rock just offshore.

We are looking forward to your visit!

Weddings are available for booking and are coordinated through Fort Zachary Taylor Visitor Services, please call them at (305) 295-0037 or visit their website.
