HAUNTING OF FORT TAYLOR
Date: October 25-31, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Description: This annual event features the haunting of Fort Taylor, a Civil War Fortress in which nearly 400 soldier died of yellow fever. Scenes depict the hauntings of the Fort and other legendary hauntings around Key West.
Fees: General park admission plus special event fee of $5.00 - Children under 10; $10.00 - Children over 10 and Military; $12.00 - adults. Proceeds go to Friends of Fort Taylor, Inc. to help preserve Historic Fort Taylor. For more information, please go to www.hauntedkeywestfort.com.

KEY WEST OFFSHORE POWERBOAT RACES
Date: November 2-9
Description: Fort Taylor is a premium viewing area for this annual offshore powerboat racing series. For additional information, please go to www.superboat.com.
Fees: General park admission plus special event fee of $5.00 per vehicle for parking during the races. Proceeds go to Friends of Fort Taylor, Inc. to help preserve historic Fort Taylor.

PIRATES IN PARADISE
Date: December 5-7, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Description: This event features re-enactors portraying the pirate's life in the late 1700s. English Red Coats and the pirates have mock battles from land and sea; the pirates fight each other with swords; there is a reenactment of the trial of Ann Bonnie and Mary Reid renown female pirates of the day.
