NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY - COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER PROJECT
Fort Cooper State Park
Date: Saturday, September 27, 2014. 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
In honor of National Public Lands Day September 27, 2014, Fort Cooper State Park along with the Friends of Fort Cooper will be picking up trash and debris from the roads near the park and the inside park perimeter fence along these roads. The public is invited to lend a hand.
For those wishing to help, pre-registration is required. Please meet at front entrance of park at 9 a.m. Individuals will be divided into teams to work in designated areas. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes as well as bring gloves. Water and insect repellant are also suggested.
