Forest Capital Museum State Park Photos

A wagon is under the shed of the log barn; the corral connects to the left and in the distance are trees and the corner of the chicken coop. Inside the eighteen-sixty-three home, the sun shining through the window lights up the room accenting its log construction and antique furnishings. An antique log cart sits on the grass field in front of the homestead's barn and corral; tall pines and oak trees tower in the distance.

A rocking chair and barrel sit in the shade on the porch of the eighteen-sixty-three log home; just beyond the home are pine and oak trees. A split rail fence zigzags along the wild brush, enclosing the homestead's cleared land and trees, its distant sheds, barn, and a fenced home yard. The homestead bedroom has a fireplace antique furnishings, including a dresser, bath, rocker, butter churn, pots, jugs and many more items.
