Falling Waters State Park

 About Falling Waters State Park

Swimming is one of the favorite visitor activities.

A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER

Jacob T. Strickland

A cascading waterfall with breath taking sinkholes, beautiful vistas and camping are just the beginning of your experience of this unique park nestled in the heart of the Florida panhandle. However, once a year the park transforms and will allow you to step back in time and see how people lived before all the

modern conveniences we use every day. The 10th Annual Legends & Lore Festival will take place April 19th & 20th, 2013 and will offer a glimpse of a time before electricity, cars and Mickey Mouse. There will be Blacksmiths, Gristmills, Flint Knappers, candle & butter makers and so much more. In attendance will be Civil War reenacters with live cannon fire and well as a Wild West Florida show. Quilters, Chainsaw Artists, Painters and other artists and crafters will show and share their talents with many unique items available for purchase. Great Food and Live Music rounds out a great weekend of fun and entertainment. Who knew history could be so much FUN!
