Essential Eligibility Criteria
Hike in the Hammock
In order to participate in this activity, one:· Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
· Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for one hour.
· Must have the ability to traverse wet, sandy, muddy, and/or uneven terrain either independently or with the assistance of a companion and/or with the use of adaptive equipment for one mile with a typical grade of 1.4% and a typical cross slope of 2.1. The trail path contains roots, rocks and low branches. Please contact the park for more information or if you are interested in this program as staff will traverse an alternate path if requested.
