Essential Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate in this program, one:

Must have the ability to enter and exit the water independently or with assistance of a companion.
Must have ability to put on snorkeling equipment independently or with assistance of a companion.
Must have the ability to float independently or with the use of a flotation device.
Must have the ability to maneuver or propel oneself through water independently or with the assistance of a companion.
Must independently have the knowledge and ability to properly use snorkel equipment while in the water.
Must independently have the ability to clear water from a mask and snorkel while in the water.
Must have ability to get to safety if in distress independently or with assistance of a companion.
Must have ability to signal for help independently or with the assistance of a companion.
Must have the ability to follow verbal and/or visual instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
