Alafia River State Park
Essential Eligibility Criteria

•  Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
•  Must wear a helmet if under 16 years of age.
•  Must have the ability to mount and dismount your horse independently or the assistance of a companion.
•  Must have the ability to remain seated and in a balanced position while on the horse independently, with the assistance of a companion or with adaptive equipment.
•  Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for the duration of the ride.
•  Must have the ability to control the horse’s speed and direction independently or with the assistance of a companion.
