Myakka River State Park
Essential Eligibility Criteria

•  Must be an experienced bike rider with the ability to control, maneuver, and maintain balance on the bike for the duration of the tour; approximately 2 ½ hours.
•  Must supply your own bicycle that is equipped with a head light and rear reflector.
•  Must wear a helmet if under 16 years of age, as per state law.
•  Must have the ability to follow verbal and/ or visual instructions independently or with the assistances of a companion.
•  Must have the ability to follow applicable traffic laws.
•  Must have the ability to navigate uneven terrain on paved and unpaved surfaces.
•  Must be able to ride a round trip of 10 miles at a pace of approximately 5 to 8 miles per hour.
•  Must provide ones own water and other personal need items.
•  Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for the duration of the tour; approximately 2 ½ hours.
