National Public Lands Day
This event is to recognize Public Lands through volunteer service, In order to participate in this program, one:• Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
• Must have the ability to traverse uneven and unstable terrain – sandy, dirt, asphalt, and/or concrete; independently or with the assistance of a companion for 1 mile.
• Must be able to do perform tasks such as pulling weeds, picking up trash, or pruning vegatation.
