Essential Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate in this program, one:

Must be at least eight years old.
Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of up to thirty hours.
Must have the ability to traverse uneven, rough, wet, and sandy terrain for up to 6 ½ miles with overnight backpacking equipment independently or with the assistance of a companion.
Must have the ability to cook and or prepare self brought food independently or with the assistance of a companion.
