Essential Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate in this program one must:

Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instruction independently or with the assistance of a companion.
Must have the ability to withstand exposure to a 63-67 degree subterranean atmosphere for 1 hour.
Must have the ability to navigate through dimly lit passages.
Must have the ability to traverse narrow and uneven terrain for 1 mile, independently or with the assistance of a companion.
Must have the ability to navigate a passage 51 inches high for 17 feet.
Must have the ability to navigate a passage 2 feet in width for 5 feet.
Must have the ability to traverse 45 steps, 10 with no handrail.
