Essential Eligibility Criteria
Build a Rain Barrel
In order to participate in this program, you:
• Must have the ability to follow visual and /or verbal instructions independently or with assistance of a companion.
• Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of up to 1 hour.
• Must have the ability to traverse 23 steps or a 240 foot long ramp with two 20 foot sections having no more than a 9.5% degree slope with average slope no greater than 8.3% independently or with the assistance of a companion. Entrance is only required to access restrooms as this program takes place at ground level.

- Thread a water spigot into a pre-drilled hole in the rain barrel independently or with the assistance of a companion.
- Optional – put a bead of caulking around the spigot.
• Must have the ability to handle 50 gallon, 20 pound, 36” wide rain barrel independently or with the assistance of a companion.
