Essential Eligibility Criteria
Guided Overnight Backpacking Trip
In order to participate in this program, one:· Must have the ability to follow verbal and/or visual instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
· Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of up to 24 hours.
· Must have the ability to traverse wet, sandy, muddy, and/or uneven terrain, while carrying needed supplies, independently or with the assistance of a companion for 7 miles.
· Must have the ability to camp overnight and prepare food, without facilities, independently or with the assistance of a companion.
