Econfina River State Park
About Econfina River State Park
A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER
Rob Lacy, Park Manager
Spring is in full swing and summer is right around the corner! Bring your canoe or kayak to enjoy a leisurely paddle along the placid water of the Econfina River. You may spot a variety of birds or other wildlife including white-tailed deer, turkey, bald eagle, Florida black bear and a vast array of shore and song birds.
If you are an avid fisherman, there are plenty of speckled trout and and redfish located in this mysterious black water that winds its way through tidal creeks that flow southward to Apalachee Bay. To get an early start, rent one of the two small 'efficiency style' units available at the park. To make a reservation, please call Ms. Bonnie Kinsey at (850) 584-3026 or visit bonniesconcession.com for more details.
