Testimonials for Dunns Creek State Park
- This is one of the greatest examples of the "real" Florida. It's completely out there, and quite a lovely- albeit lengthy- hike, especially in the briskness of Florida's winters. It's not for those seeking the ease of a 10 minute hike to a ranger station- it's for those who adore Florida's wilderness and enjoy finding something that few people ever get to see. I've been coming to this wonderful place since I was a baby, and I hiked the trail before anyone really knew about it. I adore it, and I'm sure you will, too.
Ashleigh Boice - Jacksonville/Pomona Park, Fl - I recently attended the open house at Dunns Creek SP. What a shame that this public land is not available to the public more than once a year. The horse trails are wonderful and the volunteers have done a great job. Hopefully in the near future it will be open for full time equestrian use!
