Testimonials for Dudley Farm Historic State Park
- husband and 2 year old made a trip to Dudley Farm to check it out because my husband was planning a trip for our Sunday school class. We enjoyed seeing it all and trying to figure it out from the brochure, but when we took the Sunday school class trip Terry was our guide and what a difference she made. Terry made it come alive; I’m not sure she isn’t a Dudley. She explained so much about life on that farm including relationships, chores, joys and hardships. She told us how things were accomplished and what the farm had meant to the family. It was a great experience with Terry. I would recommend the trip with Terry as a guide to anyone. You are fortunate to have her on your staff at the farm.

Linda Pearson Pearson - , - Just participated in the 2007 Cane Day and felt the need to comment on what an exceptional experience it was! The Farm is always a special experience but this day was even better. The Musicians, activities for the kids, demonstrations and the welcoming staff (Sally is ALWAYS tremendous), Bill Dunk, and on and on. this is such a special place.

Pat McAlhany - High Springs, FL - We visited Dudley Farm and had a wonderful time. There was a lady ranger in period dress that showed us around and answered questions. Her easy manner and genuine interest in the farm and its history made our visit an unexpectedly vibrant glimpse into the past of this still working farm. We learned that the roses were planted at the birth of a child and named after the child, learned how the corn was ground, how the kitchen was used, how the sugar cane grew. Each building and the historically correct contents put together make a great tour. The history of this great old place came alive as we walked around and learned about the farm. It is a great place to visit! This park would interest many people on different levels. We saw an artist taking advantage of the painting opportunities, picnickers, people taking pictures, children learning to grind corn, how clothes were washed and water was pumped to the horse and mule. It is a great place to visit!
