Get up close and personal with the plants and animals of an estuary. Meet at the picnic pavilion next door to the restrooms. Explore sea grass flats inhabited by seahorses, shrimp, young fish, crustaceans, mollusks and their egg casings and other marine creatures. This 2-hour Barrier Island Parks Society (BIPS) sponsored wading program is appropriate for adults and children ages 6 and up. Fee is $5 per person; BIPS members are free. Park entrance fee applies. Reservations required.
