Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park

 About Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park

Summer time is here. You can expect warm water temperatures and thunderstorms either early or late in the afternoon so be prepared. Please do not seek shelter under a tree as it can become a lightning rod. Instead seek shelter in your vehicle or a Bathhouse until after the storm has passed. Remember your daily ticket is good all day long so if you leave due to a storm come back later on and enjoy the rest of your day.

Tuesdays bring a special feature presentation from our partners at FGCU who are conduction Gopher tortoise studies in the park. Be sure to come in for the 9:30 talk by FGCU student Christopher Tesmer. I  think you find it very interesting.

Hope to see you here.
