The Citizen Support Organization Handbook
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection Citizen Support Organization Handbook, December 2004 version has undergone a major revision. The changes are primarily in the format and organization of the Handbook. The Handbook has been divided into three separate Handbooks: the Nonprofit Handbook for Citizen Support Organizations, the Citizen Support Organization Corporate Governance Manual on Bylaw Management, and the Citizen Support Organization Incorporation Handbook.
The 2005 Nonprofit Handbook for Citizen Support Organizations is posted below by chapter, forms, references, addendums and errata. You can obtain a copy of the Citizen Support Organization Corporate Governance Manual on Bylaw Management and the Citizen Support Organization Incorporation Handbook from your Bureau of Parks District Park Program Development Specialist.
There are changes made to the Handbook, this year:
First, the 2005 Nonprofit Handbook for Citizen Support Organizations is posted, as the most current handbook version,
Secondly, changes to the citizen support organization program are noted in Addendums, which are posted on this web page,
And, lastly, any edits for the 2005 Nonprofit Handbook for Citizen Support Organizations, which were reported over the last year, are corrected in the Errata posted on this web page.
The Bureau of Operational Services is here to assist you. This Handbook is one resource we are pleased to produce to enhance the park and CSO partnership.
