Testimonials for Colt Creek State Park
- Visited the park for the first time this past Sunday 1/6/08. Sorry I waited until then. What a beautiful place! Especially enjoyed the 3 lakes and the ease of access to them. Next week will start doing some hiking and taking in the scenery.

Thomas Rex - Dover, FL - My family and I thoroughly embraced our natural Florida during hike at Colt Creek today 7/21/09. As we meandered through the freshly mowed path, beside the ponds, we were awed at the sight of three magestic white tailed dear, off in the distance. To add to our intrigue of pure nature, we discovered a black racer literally "hanging" out amognst palmettos. My daughter and I were also captivated by the fresh dear and boar tracks crossing over the trail. The peacefulness of nature permeate throughout this merger of grasslands and forest. Although a Florida resident, I am fascinated with Florida's landscape of Cypress trees, marsh/swam land,and spanish moss, which are all a major facet at Colt Creek. If you adore nature, serenity, wilderness, and Florida, this most definitely the place for you!
