JR. RANGER PROGRAM

Description: Special manatee program just in time for the return of these gentle mammals!
Join the Jr. Ranger program for manatee fun, including stories, activates, and crafts!
Located in the program room in the upper lot.
Fees: Regular park admission fees apply.

BLUE SPRING BASIN WORKING GROUP
Date: December 9, 2009, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Description: The Blue Spring Basin Working Group is envisioned as a group of interested citizens and local government leaders working together across boundaries to resolve issues that may threaten the long term health of Blue Spring.
Fees: Fees waived for attendees.

BLUE SPRING MANATEE FESTIVAL
Date: January 23-24, 2010, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Description: Fundraiser for the Orange City Community. The proceeds will benefit 'Friends of Blue Spring State Park', Educational scolarships, and other greater Orange City organizations.

Blue Spring State Park Ranger Programs

MANATEES!
Starts mid-Nov. 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 PM Manatees seek out the 72-degree warmth of Blue Spring when winter chills the St. Johns River. Observe the endangered mammals from a boardwalk along the spring run. Best viewing is in the morning or late afternoon. Once the manatees have arrived, an interpretive program is offered daily in the programs building next to the concession.

JUNIOR RANGER ACADEMY
First Saturday of each month, March - October 2009 On the first Saturday of each month meet us at the lower parking lot pavilion for educational games, activities, stories, and more related to Florida wildlife--Junior Ranger Academy. Each month will focus on a different Florida animal. Attend two or more sessions and receive a Blue Springs State Park Junior Ranger Patch! The program is best suited for children K-5.
