Karen Tippetts - Ft Walton Beach, FL - We just came back from several nights camping at the park. It was HOT summer days, but the Blackwater River is so lovely...cool and refreshing. We went tubing which was so relaxing. The white sand beaches and bottom was such a nice place for us to swim, and the camping facilities were very nice too. Thanks for a great time!
Liz Bigler - Duluth, ga - I went camping at Blackwater for Thanksgiving of 2006 with my best friend (my music minister) and his family. We met up with several of their good friends from their old church in Orlando, FL and camped for the week. It was great, beautiful river and love the forest, we had so much fun playing games and hiding on the river and the forest, very nice and clean camping area's too. I would definitely go back and camp again and again!
Kaleb Brown - Liberty, TX - This was a wonderful and relaxing park. The upgrade to the campground is superb and the sites are quite nice. Unfortunately the water was high from a recent rain and most trails were not accessible. Would definetely do here again.
Nadine Peacock - Orlando, FL - This has been our favorite state park so far. The re do of the camping area is wonderful. Unfortunately while we were there it had rained pretty hard so every trail had water covering some of it and could not be hiked. The beach area is pristine and the water so clear. We saw deer in the camping area and having the playground close was very nice for our child.
Nadine Peacock - Orlando, FL - We just spend 4 nights camping at the Blackwater River State Park and it is by far our favorite camping experience EVER! The grounds are immaculate and the staff were very friendly. The river was so refreshing and relaxing. We felt like we were in paradise! We definitely recommend this park to families and look forward to coming back!
