Manager's Message
If you are into birding, Bald Point has a great variety of birds that can be viewed. During spring many different types of birds are present. The Neo-Tropical migrants will be returning from their winter grounds in Central America. These small birds attract scores of raptors such as Merlin and Peregrine Falcon. If you enjoy hiking or bicycling, Bald Point has many trails to explore. For canoeing, we have many freshwater lakes, tidal creeks and Ochlockonee and Apalachee bays. Now that warm sunny days have returned, red fish and trout are feeding in the shallows again and can be caught from our small fishing pier. Biting insects are always present so if you plan on visiting us, please come prepared with insect repellent. Please come visit us at Bald Point and enjoy its multitude of natural beauties and recreational opportunities. Thank you.
