Boating is available.

Camping, Primitive
Primitive camping is available on the north end of the island. A composting toilet is located in the area. No potable water is available on the island. Campers must pack in supplies and pack out trash. To camp on the island, call (727) 638-4447.

Picnicking
Two picnic pavilions are located at the south end of the island along the Gulf of Mexico. Each picnic area is complete with composting toilet facilities, picnic tables and grills. No reservations are necessary as these are on a first-come. first-served basis. Please note that there is neither electic hookup nor running water available on the island. Please carry out what you carried in at this preserve. Consumption of alcohol beverages is prohibited.

Facilities are located at the picnic area and at the north end where primitive camping is allowed.

Swimming
Swimming is allowed off the beaches of Anclote, but there are no lifeguards on duty.
