THE CREATURE RETURNS FOR THE BIG KAHUNAS
Date: Friday, December 5th from 8:00pm to 10:30pm
Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Wakulla Springs State Park and the Friends of Wakulla Springs will host The Big Kahunas as they play music from the 60's & 70's in the grand lobby of the Wakulla Springs Lodge. The Big Kahunas, a group of mostly attorneys, are known for their generosity in helping non-profit organizations achieve their fund raising goals. The Friends will receive all proceeds from the event which will help support the park. Guests rooms are available for $79 to event attendees. Come early and enjoy dinner in the dining room from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Fees: Admission is $15 per person or $25 per couple. A cash bar will be provided. Dress is casual.

HOLIDAY CRUISE AND DINNER
Date: Saturday, December 20th at 5:00pm Boat tour, Dinner Following.
Description: Make this event a family tradition! Take an evening out for a cruise on the Wakulla River followed by dinner in the historic lodge. Follow your dessert with an old-fashioned sing-a-long in the lobby by the Christmas tree.
Fees: $29.00 Adult, $18.00 Children 12 and under - Reservations Suggested.

WAKULLA WILDLIFE FESTIVAL
Date: Thursday through Saturday, April 2-4, 2009
Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Wakulla Springs State Park will be the hub of activities designed to educate, inspire and empower positive change by connecting individuals with their environment and heritage. Fine art, music, living history demonstrations, informative presenters and exhibitors, dynamic educational shows and guided tours will seek to connect participants with the natural and cultural heritage of the region.
Fees: Normal park entrance fees entitle participants to experience all festival activities EXCEPT guided tours which are available through advance registration at additional cost and often fill to capacity well in advance of Festival dates.
