STARLIGHT MOVIE CLASSICS - MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

Description: Watch an American classic movie on the lawn of The Barnacle while feasting on your own picnic with friends and family. This semi-annual event is for Barnacle Society members only. BARNACLE UNDER MOONLIGHT - ALHAMBRA ORCHESTRA
Date: December 12, 6:00 PM
Description: Get in the spirit of the season with the Alhambra Orchestra’s holiday concert at The Barnacle. Gates open at 6pm, music from 7-9pm. No Pets, No Alcohol. www.AlhambraMusic.org. Barnacle Society free concert passes are not valid at this event.

BARNACLE UNDER MOONLIGHT - TAMMERLIN

OLD TIME DANCE
Date: January 31, 6:00 PM
Description: Kick up your heels to traditional American music played by Mudhole Control with Rae Newoman calling the steps. Traditional American dances such as circles, squares, contras, and waltzes were all the rage in the 1800s, so come dance like it's 1891! Gates open at 6pm, live music and dancing from 6:30-10pm. No pets or alcohol please.

14TH ANNUAL WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY REGATTA
Date: February 21, 12 Noon
Description: This revival of Commodore Ralph Munroe's original Washington's Birthday Regatta takes place on beautiful Biscayne Bay just off shore of The Barnacle. Open to traditional style shoal-draft sailboats (fiberglass boats permitted). The race is followed by an after-hours awards ceremony at the park. Contact the park for registration information. No pets.
Fees: $15/boat entry fee for participants. Park admission for observers.

GUIDED TOURS OF THE BARNACLE
Year-round, Fri.-Mon.; 10, 11:30, 1, 2:30
Situated on the shore of Biscayne Bay, The Barnacle Historic State Park features one of the oldest homes in Miami-Dade County in its original location. Home to pioneer boat designer Ralph Middleton Munroe, The Barnacle and surrounding grounds offer visitors a rare glimpse at a bygone era. Group tours available Wednesday and Thursday by advance reservation. The park is closed on Tuesday. Park entrance fee.

YOGA BY THE SEA
Wednesdays, 6 - 7:30 PM
Enjoy a mid-week restorative yoga practice in the Real Florida, in the heart of the Grove. This class is for all levels and will be held on the grassy front lawn of The Barnacle overlooking Biscayne Bay (in case of rain, class will meet in the Micco Pavilion). Bring a mat, blocks, and a strap.
There is minimal parking inside the park, so car pool if possible and arrive prior to 6 p.m. to ensure that the class begins promptly. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that The Barnacle offers for Yoga by the Sea.
Classes are $13 each which includes park entrance fee.
