Manager's Message
The recent rain has greened the park up beautifully and the fire ban has now been lifted. Also because of the rain, the mosquitoes are quite bad and we strongly suggest you bring insect repellant if you plan on walking the trails or renting a canoe.
The monthly bird walk "Coffee with the Birds" will resume in October. It is suspended during the summer season due to the heat.
Florida State Park Service has determined that cabin linens will still be provided after July 1, 2009. Thank you to those of you who have offered opinions regarding the proposed change.
