Governor Charlie Crist has proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation Month in Florida. To celebrate, use this calendar to plan a fun outdoor activity each day in July. With 160 state parks, you are sure to find recreation, relaxation and lots of fun with your family and friends.

Make a Reservation

Bring your family and friends for an overnight adventure at one of Florida’s state parks with cabins and camping. Cabins vary from rustic to modern. Most campgrounds accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 11 months in advance.

Free Entry, Discounts and Special Offers

To celebrate Parks and Recreation Month, all visitors will enter Florida’s state parks for FREE on Saturday, July 17. This month, new discounts on Annual Entrance Passes begin for veterans and others. Also, check out the new 18-month pictorial calendar.
