Additional Information for River Rise Preserve State Park
Plant Life
The plant life at River Rise consists of various flatwoods, sandhills, sinkholes, upland forest and hammocks. Just a few of the plant species you will see here are oak, palmetto, ash, native azalea, sweet bay, holly, dogwood and fern. If you visit during different seasons, you will see that each plant has its own period of striking color, fragrance and texture.
